Man Arrested After Allegedly Refusing To Leave A Home, Greenwich Police Say

A Fairfield County man was arrested for alleged criminal trespass and for violation of probation after police responded to a report of an "unwanted male."

Jaime Barboza, 32, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Saturday, Dec. 14, after Greenwich Police responded to a home on Edgewood Avenue, said the Greenwich Police.

When officers arrived at the home, the repeatedly attempted to coerce Barboza from the residence, police said.

Eventually, Barboza surrendered to police and he was arrested for criminal trespass. During booking, police found that Barboza was also wanted a warrant in Wilton for violation of probation. 

He was held on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Dec. 23.
